Reading about Greece made me think of a book I read after the 2008 crash: Boomerang by Michael Lewis. It has been awhile, but in reading the section in the book about Greece, it seemed that their economy was no where near the standards and structures of the computer model of wall street that, from my mind, was resetting the global economy. In fact, it seemed to me that Greece, which had a distinctly "Greek" kind of economy as described as such in the book, was in effect reset and immersed in debt as were other countries as a result of the reset that came from all countries having to fall within the computer economic models and systems. Back then, we didn't use the term "reset," but now that is what I see happened: a whittling away of the buying power of the middle class, of home ownership and the middle class. In addition, what came out of all that also was a neutralizing of all specifically national or cultural ways of doing the economy and becoming global, one world.
Interesting, Denise. When Greece was on the drachma, it could set its own exchange rate and protect its own economy. I wonder if Michael Lewis was critiquing those things as 'backwards' and what was keeping them from being part of the EU and the Euro. When they became another Euro-peon (couldn't resist) foreign money could flood in and enable banks to lend more, spiking the cost of housing. You're exactly right that home-ownership and buying power has been whittled down to nothing. And yes, a homogenization of cultures.
In the solutions part of my book, I talk about local money having a 'terroir', a sense of place. I do think that's what we need to get back.
Yes, the way you describe Greece is in the same vein as Michael Lewis did. At the same time, he talked a lot about property and the role/power/authority of the Greek Orthodox Church and property holdings. .... As you say, so much also happened in the southern European countries with admission into the EU. I was in Spain walking the Camino de Santiago de Campostela a year before and then again 15 years later. There was a lot of new cookie cutter housing in the country side along the camino, and some of the old villages had less life than I'd remembered...partly because the younger people had not stayed.
I haven't gotten to your books yet, but I read your substack and sometimes listen rather than read. Thank you!
I only have one book, so your reading list is already shorter! But I'm delighted to have you listening and sending me your thoughts. It's a real joy to get the benefit of what other people have read and experienced.

A similar thing has been taking place here in the MIdwest for quite some time. The huge housing complexes popping up everywhere remind me of the huge drab blocks of housing seen all over Eastern Europe a few decades back.
She describes how the great American cities went into decline after they stopped using their own currencies. A single currency, she cogently and persuasively argued, lead to a net transfer of wealth to the most efficient city, or perhaps two cities and the decline of the rest. During my Economics Debunked research days I read this around the time of the birth of the Euro and watched over the years how her argument was made manifest in Europe. Hmmmm.
Still neck deep in listening to testimonies and researching DEWs and the weaponization of weather, Just had enough time to give this a first read. Though much is over my head and new to me, I could catch just enough to wonder if you've had a podcast with Catherine Austin Fitts yet. Would look forward to that.
I remember hoping in 2011- Greece would lead the West to overthrow the central bankers. I was shouting at the top of my lungs back then that if we did not hold the bankers responsible for the credit collapse, the next would be ten times worse. The next bubble in 2019, to hide it, they gave us covid, woke and trans authoritarianism. So more like 1000xs worse....

Hola, Tereza! Thank you for the refresher on Greece and Ireland, et al, and an update too. Back when…. LoL! Too funny. Anyway, back when I was doing the research for my ‘anti-‘economics courses, Banks Skanks and Economics Debunked, I had my nose pretty deep into all this. After 2012 or 13 life diverted my attention elsewhere.
Your line: “Revolution is predictable but the timing and outcome are not” brought a smile of recognition for an old trite trope I would say a lot in the 80s and 90s. In the 1980s I could see how the pooling of wealth was being managed, and how the ‘middle class’ had sold themselves out with the lure of cheap goods. I would rather glibly say “History is blunt. Money tends to pool with the wealthy and the wealthier the wealthy get the more it pools. Greed is more stupefying than sex, and the net result is ‘off with their heads! History is blunt, and it is very rare for the wealthy to stop themselves from starving and working the poor to death. I just hope that I’m dead before this bloody revolution happens." I would sometimes refer to the image of the gold hoarding dragon too. I would point out that the dragon takes the wealth, refuses to return it and when it is all gone the leaders of the community will start killing their children to feed the insatiable dragon. Hmmmmm.
After getting my economics degree in the mid 1990s I was so shocked that this was simply a weird religion largely founded in the rationalising behaviour of greed (to force their models of human behaviour into some kind of quasi-mathematical predictability) that I spent the next 10 years creating what became two small courses: ‘Economics Debunked’ and ‘Banks Skanks.’
So… what does that have to do with your essay?
Regarding the Marx comment you cited. It is funny Marx gets so quickly dismissed because at least some of his criticism of capitalistic economics is actually sound. When I was introduced to his idea ‘The Surplus Value of Labour’ I understood that it made perfect sense and explained a lot about the capitalistic economics of the last 100 years. It is the argument that for capitalism to work profitably in aggregate the workers cannot be paid more than the value of what they are creating, otherwise the ‘capitalist’ cannot be profitable. Yup. Simple to see. Which basically means that capitalism is self-destroying, very much like eating itself. There are two ways that that self-destruction can be ostensibly delayed: the first is constant economic ‘growth’ to hide that the wealth transfer is happening. (Not hidden anymore, is it!?) The second is to reduce savings and to expand debt in various ways, in particular of the ‘workers.’
So I was quite stunned when I read the lauded American economist, Robert Heilbroner, comment on this theory by saying that it seemed logical and sound, except that it clearly is wrong because capitalism is working fine. And so he gave me a perfect example of the educated smart person deluded by indoctrination by university expertise.
And what I taught in my course, while mocking Heilbroner rather mercilessly at the time – I’m much gentler now — was that in order for capitalism to work and continue to be profitable in the 20th century there was a massive pressure to take back whatever surplus value the labourer had made during and immediately after the 2nd world war. The press was on to empty the savings accounts. In one economics course I attended this was clearly identified as a problem in Canada in the 1950s because the people who had been through the depression were very reticent to give up those savings. The transfer became more successful as those people retired then died and their children were more open to buying things with savings instead of saving for a rainy day with the hard press to satisfy immediate whims and to seek happiness in stuff.
After the savings accounts were mostly drained, the ptb moved to their next and more powerful step: the encouragement of debt and the roll out of credit cards! So, the late 60s and then throughout the 70s, credit card heaven. This practice of extending debt eventually needed to be expanded too and so who were the next target? Students, who were initially given easy access to credit cards. That was satisfactorily shifted to full student debt, with 20+ years of the wisdom of a user pay system that only benefits the wealthy, so the cost of financing schools was significantly moved away from the state so that the student would self-fund education with massive student debt. (Side note: I noticed when I went back to school another form of theft from the students by the publishing industry. In collusion with the schools, publishers would frequently make minor even insignificant changes to their editions in order to minimise the ability of students to re-use books.)
Now that is pretty much exhausted too. So, what is the next step? In America, and in Canada too, there has been a massive anti-gun movement in various ways concomitantly with the arming of everyone possible in the government, such asthe IRS in the USA, and with the environment and public transportation police in Canada. (The removal of the American police forces may actually be a part of that too, although a bit more research would be worth while to see how the fits: police forces in the USA do not fall under federal jurisdiction, unlike the IRS, and so would be less ‘controllable’ in the event of an actual physical revolution.)
And, of course initiate a serious full frontal eugenicide. They ptb couldn’t rely on their their passive and quietly rolled out poisoned and sterilising vaccines, medicines and food of the last 70 or so years. It has become time to really remove the useless meat eaters who might get mad and kill the rich, as has been done quite often in history. Convidiana and 10 years of planned plagues, and climatopiana!
So once the useless have been euthanised, what will keep the wealthy wealthy? Since the remnants of the working middle class in the western world have been for the last 50 years at least successfully inculcated with buying as much cheap stuff as possible from the enslaved work forces around the world, which has effectively been a form of economic and social seppuku — they have no more wealth to give the ptb — the ptb have decided that they can turn to AI robots to keep them wealthy. No need for useless meat eaters, as Harari cautions us. And even better, at the same time the wealthy will be able to give themselves an infinite existence with some kind of transhumanistic existence.
Sheesh. And I thought that that was going to be a short comment. (I do have other stuff to write, after all!)
Oh on the Chamelion post, I corrected the spelling of your last name and linked to your post. Sorry for those oversights on the first version.

Followers of Q call them "the powers that were." I met a man who did construction work for the Getty family in San Francisco, and most people have heard that there was a huge amount of human trafficking going on through the Getty in Los Angeles. There were Satanic rituals going on at Chateau Marmont, the Playboy Mansion and the Hearst properties. There was a building at 999 N. Sepulveda Blvd., by LAX, that had portals (the 999 is in big red numbers). Those underground bases and cities that Ally Carter and Jessie Czebotar talked about had to go.
I've been writing a lot about Pedo-Sadist rituals, I don't know if you saw this one that got taken down from YT: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/hollywood-and-pedosadist-cults. So I don't have any doubt that's going on. But does it have supernatural power? For me to believe it does would be an act of faith, since everything I've seen can be explained in human terms. And that would be placing faith in a belief that disempowered me and gave power and enabled them. I'm willing to change my mind that supernatural evil exists, but I've never seen it.
All power is natural, but what the Luciferians DO with their power is unnatural. The structure of the Luciferian Brotherhood (https://inscribedonthebelievingmind.blog/2022/09/06/jessie-czebotar/) explains how wealth and political power are means to an end for them--'they' being the descendants of the 300 hybrid humans created by the Anunnaki in ancient Sumer.
The end isn't wealth or power, but their survival. As an unnatural race created by predators, the bloodline families' survival depends on our enslavement. They were created to oversee the plantation on behalf of aliens. Without the protection of the Draco or Lucifer, where are they going to go? ("Extraterrestrials and Illuminati" https://inscribedonthebelievingmind.blog/2022/04/16/swerdlow-interview/)
Project Looking Glass was one of many SSP or Majestic 12 programs that obtained different types of portal technologies, which have been explained by Kerry Cassidy of Project Camelot (interviewing Dan Burisch).
I remember reading about the Q source of Jesus's teachings, the majority of which were sequestered by the Vatican. That's an interesting letter to choose for Jesus's hidden teachings!
Q means two things for Naval Intelligence: quantum and a security clearance. Quantum mechanics is a branch of physics, and it's described in Robert Lanza's book, Biocentrism. It's the scientific study of the creative power of consciousness.

Still neck deep in listening to testimonies and researching DEWs and the weaponization of weather, Just had enough time to give this a first read. Though much is over my head and new to me, I could catch just enough to wonder if you've had a podcast with Catherine Austin Fitts yet. Would look forward to that.

I would love that too! I'm going to do an episode on her soon.
Glad you're sticking on the DEWs and weaponization. So important.

Dang, yer good! More great points.
And I've been wanting to return to the Getty Museum since I found it full of great stuff when I was there a couple of decades ago. : (
It's pretty obvious to me that "Getty" is a variant of "Goethe" and Mathis has some interesting and worthwhile points about him here.:

What is this "Q" you mention?
https://qposts.online/
Q is an operation carried out by U.S. Naval Intelligence to expose the Cabal and wake up humanity; Q+ is President Trump.

Project Looking Glass was one of many SSP or Majestic 12 programs that obtained different types of portal technologies, which have been explained by Kerry Cassidy of Project Camelot (interviewing Dan Burisch).
You can research portals in this index: https://inscribedonthebelievingmind.blog/history-of-the-human-race/
Thanks. Why do they call themselves "Q?"
I stumbled on this yesterday and wonder if there is any connection.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_source
I remember reading about the Q source of Jesus's teachings, the majority of which were sequestered by the Vatican. That's an interesting letter to choose for Jesus's hidden teachings!
Q means two things for Naval Intelligence: quantum and a security clearance. Quantum mechanics is a branch of physics, and it's described in Robert Lanza's book, Biocentrism. It's the scientific study of the creative power of consciousness.
