Thanks to Julius Skoolafish for the excellent Max Igan links. In the last episode I posed the question: what did England get in return for the Balfour Declaration? Max answered it: Germany had won WWI in two years, with France barely hanging on, and graciously offered a truce with no reparations. It was accepted and Germany withdrew.

But the Bolshevik Jews in Germany sent a message to the British Jews to not surrender because they could bring in the US. What they wanted in return was Palestine. The Balfour Declaration was sent in 1917. Palestine had been part of the Ottoman Empire for 400 yrs until that same year. Two months after it was sent, the US entered the war. I merely hold out my hand and the answer lands in it.

I’ve learned so much from Max’s videos and he brings so much humanity and history to this topic. A bonus question: Max talks about the lineage of the house of de Goethe that’s in the ruling elite of every European country? I don’t have the name right, I’m sure, but between Julius, Nefahotep and Frances Leader, someone can set me straight.
