And if you do go to Egypt with Jessie, I imagine some rich insights await you. I notice the subject of 'time' is showing up lately in the substack-verse. As if we are attempting to put time in its proper place. (Ed Berenger has recently done a piece on it.)
I assume the newsletter you are quoting are messages from Mantis? (Can't help but wonder if she's calling it that because it's a Mantis-being?)
"The return of the mother field brings a different quality of momentum, one that arises from stability and resonance rather than force or pressure. It supports clarity, self trust, and the natural unfolding of what we are here to express."
I so resonate with this message.
And I love that you're refreshing of the CIM's daily meditations - which identifies our distortions as directly connected to our preoccupation with the past. (Reminds me of a Spina technique: act as if you just arrived here and know absolutely nothing. It's pretty powerful in how it instantly breaks the auto-commentary.)
"We are going back to knowing nothing, allowing ‘what is’ to dawn on our perception without projecting the past. We’re going back to newborn mind: without gender, without age, without name. Meaning exists and she’s calling you home—literally. You are the home of Goddess. And Mom’s home!"
Beautiful description of a way of being, that I agree, is emerging. Along with everything else we thought this world was, are we dismantling the time/space program too? I think so.
Thanks for watching the Rumble, Kathleen, and responding there and here. I thought you would resonate with Jessie's newsletter. I quoted a little more of it than I might have otherwise, thinking 'Kathleen will get this.'
The newsletter is in Jessie's voice but yes, it is a Mantis-being she connects to. Is that a thing?
Do you have a link to Ed Berenger's piece?
At first I was translating the whole passages of the Course in my head. But it got so clumsy--like switching your fork around every time you cut a bite to eat. Now the one-liner leaves me to fill in the rest. Just because something's the 'word of god' doesn't mean it's the last word. Goddess gets the last word ;-)
I don't remember if we've talked about my latest experiment in beginner's mind--salsa dancing! It's been revolutionary in connecting with other people without gender, age or body shape mattering a bit. We rotate around in class, so I do get to know names. There are some women learning how to lead. And now that I graduated to Salsa 1.5, there's a salsa DJ at an open square surrounded by craft cocktail bars right around the corner after class. So I have a whole salsa posse! Men, women, old, young, tall, short, straight, gay, skinny, round. And there to practice what we've just learned. I'm having so much fun and have let go of my preconceptions about who I am and whether I'm an appropriate partner for anyone. My new approach is to be bold, and I think that's the lesson of 2026.
I didn't comment on his post - wanted to reread - but I felt a collapsing aspects into an either/or frame rather than a 'both' frame, but my to the point, I think it expresses a larger questioning about our experience of time and how it too, has been manipulated.
"I don't remember if we've talked about my latest experiment in beginner's mind--salsa dancing!"
We haven't, but I instantly get an image of you in salsa-attire and what a natural fit! (Red with sparkles of course.) And a new posse besides!
"I'm having so much fun and have let go of my preconceptions about who I am and whether I'm an appropriate partner for anyone. (Brilliant) My new approach is to be bold, and I think that's the lesson of 2026."
I love this - though I literally laughed out loud at 'my new approach is to be bold.' Um so we haven't yet seen Bold Tereza? :-)
This made me laugh, probably because it seems to be true.
Also this, "Everything you have lived has contributed to your understanding, your discernment, and your capacity to choose with greater clarity", reminded me of this meme that I saw recently:
Such a funny meme! My dance teacher quotes one that says: "Everything is turning out exactly as it should ... because you've wasted your life and made terrible decisions."
The full version of the first daily meditation is "Everything I see [out this window, in this room, etc] has no meaning." I'd explain to my daughters that it goes with the two line summary of the Course: "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists." Whatever has no meaning doesn't exist.
I remember Veronica holding the guinea pig during this discussion and saying, "It peed. The pee is real! The pee is real!" She was born in a silly mood.
This mother coming back home resonates so hard with me! I welcome her, arms wide open. I want to tell her stories and have her knowingly smile while she makes cinnamon toast infused with love. Thanks for wooing it up!
Jessie sounds like a hoot! What adventures are you broads getting into! And of course I’m a big fan of all the women you’ve mentioned here. Here’s to touching more grass. (I also fall into this category. I was going to mention it in a comment on your interview with Gabe since you spoke about it briefly, but I haven’t finished the interview yet so I’ll wait until done.)
Cinnamon toast! OMGdess it's been so long since I've had cinnamon toast. I used to live on it! Yup, this is becoming so real I can taste it.
Jessie is a hoot. I miss seeing her in aerial since I've segued to salsa. She's one of many who I first wrote off as a rich bitch. Goddess laughs every time I do that. In the course of getting to know her, someone (maybe her) once told me about her childhood. The word 'hard' doesn't even come close. Bizarrely insane events that would sound fake even to tell them. She's a survivor. And that woo-woo is hard won. Along with the sense of humor.
I'll put this here, where things are a little more hidden. I was thinking today that if I could interview anyone for my next in the series, my dream date would be you. You have so many life events that have come into play, and such an earthy and ethereal perspective. I'd love to play around with these problems and brainstorm what we could do with the caret system to solve them. But I know you're crazy busy so I'm writing it here to not put pressure on you.
What a delightful invitation! I would love to. Let me see when it can happen without me feeling the pressure and coming off as a spaz. We can continue that convo off line. :) thanks for thinking of me!
Yay!!! I'm in no rush. I want to pace myself with that series and let it unfold. So whatever timing ends up right for you will be right with me and the universe. I'm also planning to do an episode talking about the 'Caret Rules and Tools.' So that will shortcut you having to intuit those from the book, which barely gets into them at the end. So just keep it in the back of your mind.
Sounds exciting, T! And yes, a short hand guide to tools and rules would be very helpful. I still have a backlog of your book episodes to cover: there’s so much in your book that hearing you read it allows for even more discovery than when I read it on my own. You putting emphasis on certain words allowed for more to come to the front for me. Well, alright, I’m looking forward to linking up!
I’m fascinated by how we can shape our own reality through our word and our imagination. I’ve recently come across the work of Neville Goddard and appreciate his interpretation of scripture, even though I notice how he limits his interpretations through the language used in the bible. It seems like A Course In Miracles falls into the same trap of being written in a way that serves the patriarchy.
Everyday I am astounded at how limiting our language can be. I am also feeling that our imaginations are stunted by all the “facts” we are bombarded with on a daily basis. I love how changing God to Goddess in ACIM has changed the meaning for you. I’d love some more ideas on how to improve language to serve us better!
I love it when you go full woo, Tereza!

Thanks, Tereza, really enjoyed this post. Best.

Oh, this should be interesting.
"Nothing that I see has any meaning."
This made me laugh, probably because it seems to be true.

I guess I'm in a silly mood this morning.

Speaking of things having no meaning, coincidentally I came across another related meme this morning:
