It is a war for all the marbles that will eventually destroy most of the marbles. It is a war no one is going to win. Best to focus on being a seed of local resilience, local networks and infrastructure, for the things that matter most.
Hello William! There's a long-time viewer of my YT channel named Gan who I've thought you should 'meet.' He added to your list that "Real men tell Dad jokes," after posting a particularly groany one that responded to something in the video. He's also very much into local resilience, local networks and infrastructure. I think you'd like each other.
Will check it out. Thanks for the suggestion. As for dad jokes, my dad has been flipping the channel between fox and CNN lately, and I notice on CNN a lot of the dads portrayed in commercials are bumbling idiots, while the women are all confident and strong.
Oh my goodness! So much information... I am in awe and appreciation of your capacity to hold so much and to find ways to offer it to the wider world! I don't have the capacity or time to read this too deeply BUT ... in my gut, I sense what you are putting out there is coming close to the truth. For this I am really grateful to you for what must be considerable effort. Thank you!
I am particularly struck and delighted (strange quality, I know), that you and Michel Hudson point out the fact that the US and the West have spent most of their waking lives since 1900 trying to destroy Germany. this resonates with the deeper thought from Rudolf Steiner that the reason they do this is to prevent Germany and Russia form working together into the future to help bring about a more spiritual, more brotherly epoch. ( I'm sorry this is so shorthand - please ask if you want specific details of Steiner's ideas [ 6,000 lectures, 50 books])
However, in a nutshell he suggests that for this kind, brotherly, earth-respecting spiritual impulse to succeed, it will need those of us in the West who can see through the mind-games of the Western military industrial complex to inwardly and outwardly support the idea of this Middle Europe/Slavic future epoch. This means, amongst much else, looking within ourselves and allowing kindness, humility and openness to grow, qualities which you reference beautifully at the end of the essay when you speak of the film.
Thank you again, for me this has been a beautiful and moving start to my day here in the UK
Michael, I have to say that your comment gave me chills. There was an immediate, visceral resonance (as I'm sure Steiner would put it) that what you're saying is true. At first glance, I even read Middle Europe as Middle Earth--there's that sort of mythic sense of this symbolizing the whole empire vs. sovereignty 'battle.'
I think you've been reading since Did Fascists Win WWII? and the other related episodes. It's why I'm feeling it's so important to understand what really happened there. It's happening again and not the way people think in, as one example, the Never Again is Now Global of Vera Shiraz.
I don't know much about Steiner but have admired what I do know. Thank you for bringing in his thought and for your kind words on mine. And my daughters thank you too because I'd be doing this same effort of research and connecting the dots even if I only had them to subject to it--just ask them!
I’m very happy to hear all this. Actually I haven’t read your post on WW2 but joining the dots up about WW1 and what’s happening today leads to the inescapable conclusion that something more is underlying all this. My entry into this was Steiner’s epic series of 28 lectures on WW1, given in 1916/17 entitled ‘The Karma of Untruthfulness’, which then found an amazing concurrence in the book ‘Hidden History - the secret origins of the first world war’ by Gerry Docherty and Jim Macgregor. (2013)
Amazingly, these two Scottish authors had no knowledge of Steiner’s lectures when they wrote this book, but some of the conclusions are so similar to Steiner it is uncanny. The conclusions of both parties suggests that the narrative of ‘evil Kaiser invades Belgium and needs to be punished /destroyed for ever and ever amen’ is too simplistic by half ( by quarter, by eighth!) and Western interests, prepared decades before, were the driving force to goad Austria-Hungary and Germany into war.
(any similarities with Russia today are entirely co-incidental 🫣😣).
Let’s keep researching, let’s keep sharing with humility, love and as much uprightness and we can manage.
There you go eavesdropping on my thoughts again, Michael! As I was making breakfast, I was thinking that I needed to ask you for a Steiner reference so I could research this further. After you sent this, I watched this short documentary on The Karma of Untruthfulness while eating it: https://youtu.be/nVb2ky9qYKk. And I woke up wondering if Poland was the Ukraine used to surround Germany and goad it into war.
I'll order those books. I had only known about Steiner's spiritual writing and not geopolitical. No wonder he gets presented as a kook. Here are the related episodes:
don’t get a surprise when you read Steiner, particularly these lectures …they are deep, layered and extremely wide. Additionally his spiritual insights and his geopolitical insights are fully intertwined … you can’t have one without the other.
So far I have not come across another commentator of the last 120 years who is as comprehensive and all inclusive as Steiner , embracing everything from politics, education, reincarnation, life after death, world evolution, adversarial dark forces, nature spirits and love. (plus more 🫣💚)
That sounds right up my alley. One of my YT viewers coined socio-spirituality to describe what I'm doing, which I've used ever since. Another of my YT playlists is What is Reality? I don't know that Steiner and I come to the same answers but we're definitely asking the same questions.
Justin, you're reading my mind if not my recent comments on other threads! I had just written somewhere that we should only refer to a country if we're talking about a land mass and not anthropomorphize it as if millions of helpless people were one homogenous mass operating with a single will. In that comment, my suggestion was that we refer to 'Russian oligarchs', 'Ukranian oligarchs,' 'German oligarchs' etc when we mean those pulling the strings in that country. And I thought it might even give us a way to talk about the Jewish oligarchs without being accused of anti-Semitism, although I wasn't holding my breath.
I doubt that I was consistent in this in this article but you bring up a good point. The oligarchs have much more in common with each other than they do with the people on the land mass they're dominating.
When you're back and have time, Justin, post a specific link to your research into this. I didn't find it glancing at your archive. What you're saying is very interesting to me. It's been my theory also that the Exodus has it backwards--it's the rulers who were expelled, not the slaves. Why else would they have enough gold to make a cow statue? And the dimensions of the ark of the covenant match exactly those found in the tombs of the Pharaoh. Your addition of incest as a way of weakening the bloodline is intriguing. Here are some of my old radio episodes (with transcripts) on the OT/ Torah:

Very interesting. Same as the sitcoms. Definitely part of the agenda.
